Carbon fiber outer door sill protectors (also called exterior threshold scuff plates) for the BYD Shark 6isolate the exposed, painted exterior metal step from direct contact with muddy boots, work gear, and heels. Because the Shark 6 has a high entry point, the outer paint is exceptionally prone to scuffing during entry and exit.
